May 5th, 2024 was no ordinary Cinco de Mayo celebration for the women of Brentwood, CA.
On this special day, the Mothers of Brentwood (MOB) organization hosted their 20th annual Mother’s Day Brunch fundraiser – the biggest and most anticipated event of the year.
For the second year in a row, the picturesque Club Los Meganos served as the perfect venue. With its stunning grounds, delectable cuisine, and exceptional service, it provided an ideal setting to make every mom feel cherished and celebrated.

Before even stepping inside, guests were greeted by a festive “Happy Mother’s Day” sign, which was a beautiful creation by Bria from Card My Yard, who also generously donated a raffle prize of a custom sign for one lucky winner!
As they arrived, guests checked in via QR code at the welcoming table and walked through a vibrant balloon arch designed by Morfin Balloons. Inside, they were surrounded by stunning floral arrangements from Arrangements By Rachelle, which set a vibrant and elegant atmosphere.
The day was filled with fun and festivity, featuring a photo booth by Best Day Ever Photobooth, where moms snapped cheerful and fun photos all day long. Themed drinks like “Momosas,” sunrise mimosas, and refreshing sangria were served at a beautiful outdoor bar, with bottle service available for added luxury.

Each place setting featured a delightful mini bundt cake courtesy of Nothing Bundt Cakes, alongside beautifully printed programs. The colorful floral arrangements sat atop festive serapes and enhanced the celebratory vibe, making every table a feast for the eyes.Moms were able to enjoy a beautiful buffet of breakfast tacos, pastries, and crepes all without being interrupted by their children! That’s always a definite perk of the Mother’s Day Brunch, and guests also love being able to have a beautiful meal with their friends.
Aside from the stunning details of the event, the friendship, and the delicious food, the true heart of this event is most certainly the purpose behind it – it’s the biggest fundraiser of the year for the MOB.

The MOB is not only an amazing social organization for mothers in the area, but it’s also a nonprofit organization that works to raise money and donate their time and energy to making this community a better place. Every year, this particular fundraiser helps fund the MOB’s community outreach programs for the entire year. These programs include a school backpack drive at the beginning of the school year, turkey dinners at Thanksgiving, and the Adopt-A-Family program, which provides Christmas gifts to local families in need. We were so honored to have Justine Melendez from the school district as our guest speaker for this year’s brunch come and speak about how much the MOB has impacted local families with these community outreach programs over the past year.
The funds raised at this event are thanks to a raffle and live auction put on by the MOB Board. This is possible thanks to so many amazing contributions from businesses generously donating items for us to raffle and auction off. Thanks to the hard work of the MOB Board, this year we were able to get 127 raffle prizes alone!
Located just outside the beautiful banquet room were tables and tables full of beautifully curated baskets, event tickets, gift cards, framed photos, and even a bicycle for moms to get the chance at winning with their raffle tickets. Just inside the doors was the live auction table, which was full of incredible prizes like a free sliding screen door from Screen King, swim lessons from Carson Swim School, discounts on home renovations from Valenz Construction, a golfing package from Crow Canyon Country Club, a full estate plan courtesy of The Law Offices of Edward Younger, and even a hot air balloon flight in Napa Valley, courtesy of Napa Valley Aloft.

Thanks to generous donations and hard work of the MOB Board, the event raised over $12,000 – the most successful brunch to date! These funds will help support local families throughout the year.
A huge THANK YOU goes out to all the incredible businesses, sponsors, vendors, and the entire staff at Club Los Meganos who helped make this event possible.
Special THANKS to all of the MOB members who always come together to support each other throughout this journey of motherhood. We could not do any of this without them!
Last but not least, BIG KUDDOS to the Board members who put in so many hours of their time working tirelessly to make this event happen. The MOB board is fully made up of volunteer moms who choose to spend their free time away from their children and their jobs working hard to make this organization the best that it can be.
